Do you have any other registration type plugins installed too?
To answer your question, if your Theme supports the Theme Customizer, the Pro version allows admins to view the plugin at work as you can add it as a widget through the Theme customizer. This may be a solution for you.
Also, we have added your “test mode” feature to our list of features for a later version of the ALR Pro.
