    Hi Oscar,

    Are you implying that the setting is cutting some of the text from your app id?

    Hi,

    No, i don’t think that… Because the number saved is different after.

    FB gave me this appid 1754307058127972 and ZM saved this 2147483647…

    where does it save this? In a DDBB? Or in a file?

    Thanks

    Ok! I’m working with Local environment i and i use windows (Int value in windows only should have 32 bits)

    I’ll find other solution.

    Thanks!

    Finally, i find this provisional solution:

    I changed your function zm_alr_pro_settings_facebook_app_id_sanitize and now it doesn’t return an integer value. For a local development it’s my best solution.

    Later, i could test the login with FB (and register) and i saw that de user name is a numeric random (i think so). Please, can you say me how can i register FB users with email?

    Thanks

    Oscar,

    Thanks for reporting this, I’ve added it as issue and will have it updated in a later release.

    Regarding registering users via their email; earlier releases of the free version used this approach, but it had issues a user can have multiple emails and this approach was not recommended.

    If your wanting to have an alternate approach to showing something other than the FB user ID in the admin that is something we are working on a solution for.

    All db settings are saved in one field in the database, as “zm_alr_pro_settings”. If you wanted to retrieve a single value you can either use the global or the function call.

    global $zm_alr_pro_settings;
    echo $zm_alr_pro_settings['facebook_app_id'];

    or

    echo zm_alr_pro_get_option( 'facebook_app_id' );
